How do I set a Validation Rule to Require an Account Name in the Scan Queue for Contacts?  

You may have noticed that Salesforce requires an Account Name when you create a Contact record. However, Salesforce allows Api updates to send Contact data without an Account Name. If you want to require an Account Name for any Contact being created in your Scanning Queue, use the power of Salesforce validation rules:

1. In your Salesforce, on the Contact Object, create a Validation Rule.

2. The Error Condition formula is: ISBLANK(Account.Name)

3. Create an Error Description.
