Assign the scanning Permission Set to a User.

Note: If the user is assigned a Salesforce Standard profile, then you’ll need to create a custom profile for the user to assign a permission set.

If you did not select All Users or the Profile for the User during the scanning solution installation process, then in addition to granting a license you need to assign the Access eContacts permission set.

     1. Go to Setup>Administration Setup>Manage Users>Permission Sets

     3. Click the Manage Assignments button

     4. Click the Add Assignments button

     5. Click the checkbox next to a user, then click the Assign button.
